Fortnite 2fa App
Fortnite-two-factor authentication or also shortly known as 2fa is a system that adds another layer of security on top of your password. It works simple but can be annoying at times as most platforms that use it require it every time you log in to your account. It works like this: you sign up on 2fa and enable it, after that, you will be asked to verify yourself through the method you’ve chosen. Epic Games allows its players to choose one of two, the first and the most common one is using an e-mail account and the other one is via an Authenticator App. Although both have its pros and cons, here is why you should use the Fortnite 2fa App.
First off, there are more than one Authenticator Apps that you need to choose. The apps that you need to download to your phone in order to enable 2fa on Fortnite include:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- LastPass Authenticator
None of them has their differences but we recommend Google Authenticator since it’s the simplest one to use. Once you go to https://www.fortnite.com/2fa, select Enable 2fa Authenticator App. Boot up the Authenticator App of your choice and scan the QR code and voila! You’ve just successfully enabled 2fa on your account with Fortnite 2fa App.
From now on, you will be asked to verify yourself with the same application on the same device whenever you’re logging in from a new device or after not being logged in to your account for more than 30 days. Stay tuned for more Fortnite 2fa guides in the upcoming future!
