How to Disable 2fa Fortnite
Two-factor-authentication or 2fa for short surely can be a great way to give your account another security layer on top of your password. Since Fortnite players have to verify themselves either via an e-mail or through an authenticator app, it is their responsibility to keep it safe. If it gets lost and Epic Games asks for a verification code after logging on a new device or logging after 30 days of being offline, there would be no chance to log in.
Although this is unlikely, some Fortnite players don’t want to take that risk. If you’ve enabled 2fa on your account to join an event and now you want to disable it, check our guide!
How to Disable Fortnite 2FA
Disabling 2fa is even easier than enabling it. Just like how you enabled it, log in on your Epic Games account and get to your Account Settings. Head over to Password&Security from the left menu and click on “Disable 2fa”. Epic Games then will either send you a verification code or ask you to scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
Keep in mind that you can always enable 2fa back on. This can be helpful when a new Epic Games event is held. Stay tuned for more Fortnite guides!
